15 years of 'Welcome' movie Anil Kapoor says; 'Majnu Bhai' came naturally to him

Anil Kapoor news: Anil Kapoor has shared a post to mark 15 years of his hit 2007 comedy 'Welcome'. The actor played the role of a hilarious gangster named Majnu bhai that also starred Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar and Katrina Kaif.

Recently, the 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' actor took to his Instagram and posted a montage of photos and wrote it has been 15 years since he picked up the paintbrush and the rest is history. It is and will always be one of the best films as it made the audience laugh their heart out. Then he said that there are some characters and stories that live for years and one cherishes them throughout their life.

Later, he also tagged his co-stars Mallika Sherawat, Paresh Rawal and director Anees Bazmee and lastly thanked him for such a memorable role. In addition to this, social media was flooded with comments from fans with good wishes.

On the professional front, Anil Kapoor will next feature in 'Animal' alongside Ranbir Kapoor,  Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. This film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga the movie is a crime drama and will go on floors on August 11, 2023. He also has Sidharth Anand's 'Fighter' starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
