Alia Bhatt expresses gratitude for Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in 'Brahmastra'

Alia Bhatt is thankful for Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' has been dominating the box office ever since it was released. Undoubtedly, the most notable moments from the film was Shah Rukh Khan's appearance. After seeing their favourite star, fans requested a spin-off movie on SRK's character of 'Vanarastra'.

While filmmaker Ayan Mukerji has already thanked Shah Rukh Khan for his "generosity" and revealed plans about spin-off, Alia Bhatt too expressed gratitude towards SRK. The actress revealed candidly about Shah Rukh's cameo in an interview with Pinkvilla. She claimed that it was the reason the movie "started with a bang."

She added that the feeling she experienced when Nagarjuna and Amitabh Bachchan joined forces to work toward the same goal was "intense and thrilling."

Ayan previously admitted that they considered telling the origins of Shah Rukh Khan's strong character long before the fans started asking for one.

The director is currently nearing completion of the eagerly awaited "Brahmastra" sequel.

On the other side, Shah Rukh Khan is currently filming his next 'Jawan' with Atlee. He is also awaiting the release of 'Pathaan' and is said to have a special cameo in 'Tiger 3'.
