Akshaye Khanna joins Tabu in Drishyam 2; confirms with a picture
Akshaye Khanna Drishyam 2: Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna has joined the cast of the Hindi version of Mohanlal's 'Drishyam 2', which also stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in pivotal roles. Tabu confirms about the news with an Instagram post in which Akshaye Khanna was seen sitting beside Tabu.
The film is a sequel to Abhishek Pathak's 2015 criminal thriller Drishyam, which starred Ajay Devgn and Tabu. Devgn is expected to reprise his role as Vijay, while Tabu will play Meera Deshmukh, the Inspector General of Police, in the film.
The first segment of the crime thriller, directed by the late Nishikant Kamat, was a remake of the Malayalam-language film "Drishyam," which starred Mohanlal in 2013.
Khanna is most known for the flicks 'Dil Chahta Hai,' 'Hungama,' 'Race,' and 'Mom.'

The Hindi remake, which starred Devgn, told the story of a family of four whose lives were turned upside down after their eldest daughter was involved in an accident.
Devgn will reprise his role as Vijay Salgoankar in the Abhishek Pathak-directed sequel. Tabu will reprise her role as Meera Deshmukh, Inspector General of Police, in the film, which began filming this week.
The film is being produced by Sanjeev Joshi, Aditya Chowksey, and Shiv Chanana co-produce with Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar.
