Akshay Kumar unveils the first look posters and release date of much awaited film 'Prithviraj'

Several films that were set to be released in January were postponed as a result of Covid-19's third wave. Akshay Kumar starer Prithviraj was one of these films, and if all had gone according to plan, it was scheduled to hit the big screen on January 21, 2022. However, the producers opted to postpone it indefinitely due to fears of lockdowns and limitations in numerous areas.

Manushli Chhillar, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonu Sood's character motion posters have also been released by Akshay. Prithviraj's new release date has been set for June 10, 2022.

Akshay Kumar announced the release date along with the official posters, "महान सम्राट की पुण्य स्मृति, रुपहले पर्दे पर 10 जून से!

The grand Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan’s historic journey is coming to the big screen on 10th June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu."

Manushi Chhillar will play Princess Sanyogita in her debut film, while Akshay plays the renowned king Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. Sanjay Dutt will play Kaka Kanha and Sonu Sood will play Chand Vardai.

It appears that Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj and Vicky Kaushal's Govinda Naam Mera will go head-to-head, and it will be fascinating to see who wins the hearts of the audience. Apart from that, the two films will compete at the box office with Hollywood's Jurrasic World Dominion, which stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Mamoudou Athie, and Chris Patt, among others.
