Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez completes the shoot of 'Ram Setu'; announce new release date

In a single year, Akshay Kumar gives his fans not one, but several films. For the past three months, the actor has been busy filming his new feature, Ram Setu.

On Monday, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar announced that his upcoming action-adventure film Ram Setu will be released on Diwali.

The actor released a video on his official Twitter profile in which he flaunted his Ram Setu look. Akshay remarked in his post on the video, "I learned so much during the making of this film, it was like going to school all over again."

Jacqueline Fernandez also took to social media to share some fun behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of 'Ram Setu,' which she co-starred in alongside Akshay Kumar. The actress' Instagram post recorded some of the enjoyable moments from the set's final day.

Nushrratt Bharuccha also has a prominent role in the film. Kumar plays an archaeologist in Ram Setu, which was directed by Abhishek Sharma (Parmanu, Tere Bin Laden).

The project, which has been produced by Kumar's Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, Lyca Productions, and Amazon Prime Video, began filming in March 2021 but was halted after the actor and other team members tested positive for Covid-19.
