Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Gives An Update On The Film Ponniyin Selvan

Ponniyin Selvan is an upcoming film of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan about which the actress posted on her social media handle. The actress tweeted a poster for the film and informed that the historical drama's shooting schedule has been completed by the Ponniyin Selvan crew. The film's release date is also mentioned on the poster: summer 2022. Prakash Raj, Trisha Krishnan, Jayaram, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Karthi, and Aishwarya Lekshmi are among the cast members.

The film is directed by Mani Ratnam where AR Rahman composed the soundtrack for the film. "PS1 coming soon!" he posted with a photo of Ponniyin Selvan on Instagram. The film is based on the popular historical novel Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki Krishnamurthy.
