Aditya Roy Kapur will play the lead in the Hindi Adaptation of 'Thadam'.

Aditya Roy Kapur, who has given numerous hits like 'Malang, Sadak 2, and Ludo' previously is going to star in the Hindi version of Tamil classic Thadam. For the first time, Kapur will play two roles in this untitled thriller, which is said to be based on genuine events. Vardhan Ketkar, a newbie filmmaker, will direct the film, which will be produced by T-Series Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani.

"I am inspired and excited to be a part of telling such an incredible story," Aditya said of his challenging role. The original picture was fascinating and engaging, and it made an indelible impression on me" said Aditya.
