'Aashiqui 3': Kartik Aaryan announces much awaited film with Anurag Basu

'Aashiqui 3': Kartik Aaryan is currently having a gala time of the year. After the massive success of his blockbuster film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', the actor is on the verge to keep his fans captivated with a slew of projects. Adding to the list, now, Kartik has announced his new film 'Aashiqui 3' with none other than talented director Anurag Basu.

Yes! You read that correctly. Kartik Aaryan will be the face of the much-awaited film 'Aashiqui 3'. It is the third installment of the cult classic 'Aashiqui'.

While confirming the news, Kartik Aaryan took to his social media accounts and shared the motion poster and wrote, "Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum

To note, this is the first-ever collaboration of Kartik Aaryan with renowned Bollywood director Anurag Basu. Along with the announcement, Kartik also revealed that the film will be 'heart-wrenching' for everyone.

For the unversed, Mahesh Bhatt directed the first franchise of 'Aashiqui' in 1990 which featured Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. Following the success of this, the film 'Aashiqui 2' featured Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. It was directed by Mohit Suri and was released in 2013 which again was a huge hit at the box office.

Now, as Kartik Aaryan joins hands with Anurag Basu for the third installment, fans are already eager to know who will be seen opposite Kartik in the film.

Recently, Kartik Aaryan started shooting for his upcoming love-saga 'Satya Prem Ki Katha' with Kiara Advani. Apart from this, Kartik will also be seen in 'Shehzada', 'Captain India', and 'Freddy'.
