Aamir Khan confirms Shah Rukh Khan's cameo in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'

Shah Rukh Khan's in 'Laal Singh Chaddha': Aamir Khan is all set to return to the silver screens after 'Thugs Of Hindustaan'. The star is all set for the release of his film 'Laal Singh Cahddha', which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh, in key roles. Several reports claimed that 'Laal Singh Chaddha' will also feature Shah Rukh Khan in a significant role.

Now, it has been confirmed by Aamir Khan, that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a cameo in the most-awaited film 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. In a recent interview, Aamir revealed how he persuaded Shah Rukh Khan to work in the film.

On being asked about how he convinced Shah Rukh Khan to perform a cameo, Aamir said Shah Rukh was his friend, and that he told him that he wanted someone who can represent Elvis (Presley), the way he represented in America. "I am going to you because I require the most recognisable Indian icon (laughs). He answered, "Yes," in a really lovely way," he added.

For the unversed, the film is an official remake of Hollywood film 'Forest Gump'. The movie is all set to release in theaters on August 11.

The film is locking horns with Akshay Kumar's 'Raksha Bandhan', which is directed by Anand L Rai.
