'HARD KAUR' WILL BE A STRONG LAUNCH FOR DEANA UPPAL IN PUNJABI FILM INDUSTRY

Successful model turned actress Deana Uppal is all set for her powerful role in her next movie titled “Hard Kaur”. Deana Uppal is Miss India-UK, Big Brother Finalist (UK Big Boss) and also was a strong contestant on reality show “Khatron Ke Khiladi”. Her role in her upcoming movie will serve her a strong launch in Punjabi Film Industry.

Deana Uppal is playing “Sairat Kaur” in the movie who is very simple and soft-spoken school teacher. The film portrays the difficulties that women face in Punjab face with their daily activities and how they deal with teasing, the ugly comments and more serious offences like physical attack and also rape. Deana Uppal’s role could be related to every girl. The movie is based on the harassment of females in Punjab.

Ajit Rampal is directing this movie with Deana Uppal along with Drishti Grewal and award-winning Nirmal Rishi. Ajit Rampal says, “Punjab is one of the greatest states that created the Women Warriors ever. We are attempting to make their bravery a regular part of our day to day life, this Punjabi Film features “5 Sikhnis” from 5 different cities of Punjab who go through agony; but come together to fight the hardships by uniting, titled as “Dard Kaur”.

The movie is produced by Delhiwood. The movie will be releasing on 15 December with Whitehills Productions. The trailer for the movie is already released. It is very appealing.
